The IGF is an annual event hosted by the United Nations that is open to all stakeholders – industry, government, academia, civil society and individual users – to progress discussions on key internet governance issues. The theme of this year's IGF was "The internet we want – empowering all people." In this blog, we highlight some of the key takeaways and insights from our involvement.

Following an internal review of the operation of the .au Domain Administration Rules: Licensing (the .au Licensing Rules), auDA has identified some minor administrative amendments that we believe will improve how the rules work. auDA held a webinar to discuss the proposed changes and consultation process which is open to the public to make submissions to until 30 October 2023.
