auDA is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers three core functions:

1. We operate the .au domain name system (DNS) – the critical infrastructure that connects millions of internet users to websites and email addresses ending in .au, ensuring it remains stable, secure and reliable
2. We administer the .au licensing regime – so more than 20 million Australian internet users – as well as organisations and internet users around the world – can access and use .au domain names with confidence
3. We advocate for a better digital future – by actively participating in and advocating for multi-stakeholder internet governance processes both locally and globally.
