auDA is pleased to announce the auDA Board has appointed two new Directors to the auDA Board and selected three candidates for its upcoming Elected Director Ballot.
Appointed Directors
auDA welcomes Brett Fenton and Tina Wyer as Appointed Directors to the auDA Board.
Brett brings with him a strong background in the domain name industry and deep technical knowledge and understanding of technology operations, platforms and cloud-based services.
Tina is a Chartered Accountant and former financial services executive with global experience that includes driving strategic initiatives and advising organisations to leverage data and technology.
Brett and Tina will commence their terms following auDA’s Annual General Meeting on 19 November 2024.
Elected Director Ballot
On 24 October 2024, a ballot will open for auDA members to elect a candidate to fill one Elected Director position on the auDA Board. All auDA members are eligible to vote in the Elected Director Ballot.
The auDA Board has approved three highly qualified candidates to stand for election:
- Martin Ripple
- Lynne Robinson
- Claire Rogers.
The Elected Director Ballot will be managed independently by Link Market Services (Link). Link will send members an invitation to participate in the ballot and information on the three candidates on 24 October 2024. Members will have until 5pm 17 November 2024 (AEDT) to cast their vote.
The result of the ballot will be announced at auDA’s 2024 Annual General Meeting on 19 November 2024. The successful Elected Director will commence their term directly following the Annual General Meeting.
Departing Directors
The three new Directors will fill positions made vacant by departing Directors and an existing vacant Director position.
Angelo Giuffrida and Alice McCleary will step down from the Board when their terms end on 19 November 2024. Angelo and Alice have both served on the Board since November 2019. Angelo is a member of the Governance and Culture Committee and Public Benefit Program Committee, and Alice is Chair of the Finance and Sustainability Committee and member of the Public Benefit Program Committee and the Audit Committee. They will remain members of the auDA Nomination Committee.

The auDA Nomination Committee conducted a search and approved and recommended candidates suitable for appointment or election to the Board based on an assessment against the auDA Board Skills Matrix. The Board then approved the Appointed Directors and Elected Director candidates.
