Mark your calendars for the 2025 Australian Internet Governance Forum (auIGF), which will take place in Adelaide and online on 23-24 September 2025.
The theme of the 2025 auIGF is Global Visions, Local Impact – The Future of Australia’s Digital Governance. The forum will provide a platform for the Australian internet community, enabling Australia to play a proactive role in shaping the policies and frameworks for the future of the internet.
The 2025 auIGF will take place at the Adelaide Convention Centre with a hybrid format to ensure accessibility for all participants, whether onsite or online.

auIGF is a free, annual event that brings together a diverse, multidisciplinary community of stakeholders, including government, industry, academia, civil society, and the technical community. It provides a neutral and inclusive platform for discussing internet governance and public policy issues affecting Australia. Modeled on the global Internet Governance Forum (IGF), the auIGF fosters collaboration, strengthens partnerships, and amplifies diverse perspectives to shape the future of Australia’s internet governance.
