The 80th Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN80) Policy Forum will commence next week in Kigali, Rwanda.
The Policy Forum is the second meeting in ICANN’s three-meeting annual cycle and is dedicated to the policy development work of the Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees (SO/ACs), and regional outreach activities. The Policy Forum supports the development of internet policy through ICANN’s bottom-up, consensus-based approach.
Members of the auDA team participate at ICANN meetings alongside representatives of the Australian Government and members of the Australian internet community.

About ICANN meetings
ICANN meetings have been central to ICANN’s multi-stakeholder model since its formation in 1998. They provide a forum for learning about ICANN, advancing policy work, conducting outreach, exchanging best practices, conducting business, and interacting with members of the ICANN community, Board and organisation.
The meetings are designed to meet a diverse range of needs for ICANN’s Committees, staff, and newcomers alike.
