The Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) is the regional member-based not-for-profit organisation responsible for the allocation and management of Internet Protocol addresses and Autonomous System numbers in the Asia Pacific.
APNIC is governed by its Executive Council, which makes decisions about APNIC’s activities, budget and strategic direction on behalf of its members. The members of the Executive Council have significant capacity to shape the internet ecosystem regionally and globally.
Elections for the APNIC Executive Council are now underway. The outcome of this election is important to ensure APNIC continues to manage the allocation of important internet resources effectively for our region and work broadly in the interests of the global internet as an effective participant in, and leader of, the multi-stakeholder ecosystem.
auDA encourages APNIC members to exercise their vote in this election to shape the future of APNIC. Voting is open until 2 March. Further information is on APNIC’s website https://www.apnic.net/community/participate/elections/ec/.
