The auDA Nomination Committee's role is to provide independent advice and recommendations to the auDA Board and to assist the Board by identifying, scrutinising and approving candidates that are suitable to become Directors of the auDA Board.
The Nomination Committee is responsible for conducting a formal and transparent process to select candidates to recommend to the Board, using the Board-approved Board skills matrix to inform their recommendations.
The auDA Board is responsible for considering the recommendations put forward by the Nomination Committee and deciding which candidates will be appointed or included on the ballot for election in the member election process.

External members are chosen to collectively represent the interests of auDA members, business, consumers, the digital and internet industries, and the general public interest.
